Mercedes Benz, the luxury car manufacturer, has 26 mixed tape collections available for free download on its website! And there’s a new mix out every two months. I had no idea. The retro, nostalgic title and a shortage of fresh tunes were enticement enough for me to download the latest compilation two nights ago. No regrets. I’ve been listening to it continuously since, drifting into imaginary scenarios of driving by the ocean with the top down - pretty far from reality. The tracks cater to an assortment of moods and tastes including groove, jazz and ambient. It’s well worth the twenty to thirty minutes it takes to download.
