Imagine placing your music player, cell phone or digital camera on a coffee table and uploading music, swapping contacts, getting directions or mailing photographs, all with a few clicks strokes of the finger. Microsoft Surface is well on its way to making interactive computing a reality. The technology is remarkably user friendly, engaging and fun to use. With the kind of buzz being generated and boundless applications for which it can be adapted, we can expect to see Surface in restaurants, hotels, retail stores and casinos pretty soon.

There are already plans of releasing a 46-inch model to complement the currently available 30-inch Surface.

Apart from the US and several European countries Surface is now also available in Qatar and UAE.
